The Chapter Guide to relaxed Hosting
Posted by Charlotte Nutland onIf you're hosting today we're all about having a relaxed, great time with family and friends rather than stressing about the small details. Focus on good times rather than decor. Your people are delighted to be invited over to hang out with you. Inviting friends over should be about fun, enjoying a dinner together and having great conversations and multiple big laughs. It’s OK not to have matching plates for everyone, or themed serving dishes or the expensive table clothes.
Here are our 3 tips for easy, effortless and relaxed hosting today.
1. One Pot Hosting
Relaxed dining creates an informal and chilled out atmosphere. Rather than preparing lots of different snacks and nibbles cook ahead and create a few 1 pot dishes that can be prepared in advance and served family style. Think easy and tasty food that will last until Monday too if there are left overs. Vege Chili, Butter Chicken Curry. You can lay out the food on the Kitchen Table and allow people to help themselves, hopefully wandering into the garden too if the weather holds up.
2. Scent your Space
Scent is our most underrated and strongest sense! You can scent the tone you'd like your guests to experience with scent. Be it lively and energising, relaxed and calm or thoughtful and inspiring. We have 6 different Chapters to choose from each named according to their emotional benefits. Use our Purest Essential Oil Blends in an Aroma Diffuser to offer a consistent scent throughout your space with minimal effort. Add in some fresh flowers and music to really appeal to the senses.
3. Mocktails
Offer guests a thoughtful mocktail as they arrive to hydrate and refresh before moving on to their usual tipple. We love the Mocktail Basil Smash. Basil, Salt, Grapefruit and Honey this is refreshing and beautifully pink.
