Magnesium - The hero wellbeing supplement of the moment
Magnesium has become one of the most popular health supplements due to its myriad of benefits including aiding; a good nights sleep, reducing anxiety, PMS and supporting muscle recovery.

A hard working mineral known as an 'adaptogenic,' it helps with our energy levels as we try and relax.

Retaining adequate levels of magnesium is vital for wellbeing of the body and mind but many of us are deficient due to modern farming practices and diet choices.

What does magnesium support?

Magnesium is an important mineral that helps the body and mind to function well. Its used in hundreds of processes from healthy bones and teeth to supporting the nervous system. Known as ‘nature’s natural sedative’ it helps to calm the mind and body, helps with our ‘wake and sleep cycle’ via the regulation of melatonin production and can help calm nerve activity.

How can we top up our magnesium levels?

Food, supplementation and skin applications. Your diet is a great place to start looking at magnesium. Foods that are rich in the mineral include; almonds, cashews, seeds, green leafy vegetables, black beans. By eating a balanced and nourishing diet you will get the recommended benefits of magnesium.

Magnesium Soaks

Soaking in Bath Salts rich in Magnesium is an incredibly relaxing and rejuvenating way to top up. Add your Bathing Salts to a warm bath (37-39 degrees.) Relax in your bath for at least 20 minutes. To maintain wellbeing use half to 1 full cup 1-3 times a week for a gentle transdermal magnesium bath of foot soak.
